Halo Health — preventive care, in your pocket.
A native Swift app that pairs with wearables to surface early-warning health signals — featured in the App Store's “Apps We Love,” with 4.9 stars across 12,000 reviews.
The challenge
A health-tech founder wanted an app that could read signals from wearables and HealthKit and turn them into something a person would actually act on — early-warning nudges, not another dashboard of numbers. It had to feel native, respect medical-grade privacy, and clear App Store review on the first try.
What we built
A fully native SwiftUI app with on-device processing, so sensitive health data never had to leave the phone to produce a daily readiness score and personalized check-ins.
- HealthKit & wearable integration with background sync
- On-device signal processing for privacy-first readiness scoring
- Smart push nudges timed to the user's own patterns
- A lightweight GCP backend for accounts, cohorts, and content
How it went
It passed App Store review first time and was picked up by Apple's editorial team for “Apps We Love.” It now holds a 4.9-star average across more than 12,000 reviews — and we stayed on as the on-call studio for each OS release.
By the numbers.
“I've worked with five agencies. accruu is the only one where the senior who pitched us was also the senior who wrote the production code.”
Let's get it featured.
