This explains how Accruu, LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you contact us, use our site, or use websites and services we host or maintain.

Terms of Service Acceptable Use

This policy is written for Accruu.dev's current MVP. If a separate written agreement with a customer says something different, that agreement controls for that customer.

1. Who we are

Accruu, LLC ("Accruu," "we," "us," or "our") designs, builds, hosts, and maintains websites, mobile applications, SaaS products, internal tools, and related cloud infrastructure.

Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@accruu.io.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use our websites or hosted services, and limited information from third-party tools we use to run the business.

Information you provide

  • Name, email address, phone number, company name, industry, project type, and project details submitted through our project inquiry form.
  • Messages, files, website content, brand assets, images, product requirements, support requests, and other materials you send us.
  • Billing, subscription, and payment-related information if you become a hosting or maintenance customer. Payment card data is processed by our payment provider, not stored directly by Accruu.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, referrer, UTM campaign parameters, timestamps, and basic diagnostic logs.
  • Security, performance, and error information from hosted websites and applications.
  • Cookies or similar technologies where needed for site operation, analytics, security, or customer account functionality.

3. How we use information

  • Respond to project inquiries and prepare proposed solutions.
  • Design, build, host, maintain, secure, monitor, and support customer websites and applications.
  • Send transactional messages about inquiries, projects, accounts, invoices, uptime, maintenance, and security.
  • Send marketing messages only where allowed by law and with opt-out controls where required.
  • Detect abuse, prevent fraud, debug errors, improve performance, and protect Accruu, customers, users, and infrastructure.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Email, phone, and text messages

When you submit an inquiry, you authorize us to contact you about that inquiry by email or phone. If you separately opt in to texts, you consent to receive text messages from Accruu about your inquiry or services. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing emails using the instructions in the email and can opt out of texts by replying STOP where supported.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate our business and services, including with:

  • Cloud, hosting, database, infrastructure, security, monitoring, analytics, email, SMS, and support providers.
  • Payment processors and billing providers.
  • Contractors or service providers who help us deliver work and are expected to protect the information.
  • Legal, compliance, or safety parties when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, security, or service integrity.
  • A successor business if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, sale, or similar transaction.

6. Customer websites and end users

For websites or applications we host or maintain for customers, the customer is responsible for the privacy notices, cookie notices, consent flows, and legal basis for collecting information from their own end users unless our written agreement says otherwise. We act as a service provider or processor when handling customer-controlled data for hosting, maintenance, support, and security.

7. Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. Project inquiry records are generally retained for up to one year unless a longer period is needed for an active project, customer relationship, legal obligation, dispute, security investigation, or backup retention.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including access controls, logging, hosted infrastructure controls, and encrypted transport where supported. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or limitation of your personal information by contacting support@accruu.io. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, or contractual obligations.

If you are a resident of a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, the EEA, or the UK, you may have additional rights. We will respond to applicable requests as required by law.

10. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, infrastructure, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
