This Acceptable Use Policy applies to websites, applications, domains, content, data, traffic, accounts, and infrastructure that Accruu builds, hosts, manages, monitors, or maintains for you.
1. Legal compliance
You may not use Accruu services for anything unlawful, deceptive, harmful, abusive, or otherwise prohibited by these rules. You are responsible for your business, content, users, products, claims, licenses, and compliance obligations.
2. Prohibited content and activity
You may not use the services to create, host, distribute, link to, facilitate, or promote:
- Illegal goods, services, activity, instructions, or transactions.
- Fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation, deceptive claims, fake reviews, or misleading lead capture.
- Malware, spyware, ransomware, credential theft, botnets, exploit kits, or harmful code.
- Spam, unsolicited bulk messages, unlawful robocalls, unlawful robotexts, list scraping, or abusive lead generation.
- Harassment, threats, doxxing, extortion, blackmail, or content that encourages violence.
- Content that exploits or harms minors.
- Content or activity that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- High-risk financial, medical, legal, insurance, gambling, adult, weapons, controlled-substance, or regulated activity unless we approve it in writing and you maintain all required compliance controls.
- Any content or activity likely to damage the reputation, deliverability, security, availability, or lawful operation of Accruu, our providers, or other customers.
3. Security rules
You may not attempt to bypass, probe, weaken, overload, or interfere with systems, networks, accounts, rate limits, authentication, authorization, logging, abuse controls, or infrastructure. You may not run vulnerability scans, penetration tests, load tests, scraping, crawlers, automation, or stress tests against hosted services without our prior written approval.
4. Email, SMS, and marketing
You are responsible for ensuring that your outreach, email, SMS, ads, forms, and lead capture comply with applicable law, platform policies, and consent requirements. You may not use Accruu-hosted services for spam, purchased lists without proper rights, misleading sender identity, unlawful marketing texts, or messages that do not include required opt-out mechanisms.
5. Privacy, data, and regulated information
You may not upload, collect, process, or store sensitive regulated data through Accruu-hosted systems unless we have agreed in writing that the service is designed for that data and the necessary safeguards are in place. This includes protected health information, payment card data, government identifiers, precise geolocation at scale, biometric identifiers, children's data, and similar sensitive categories.
You are responsible for privacy notices, cookie notices, consent banners, end-user terms, and lawful handling of your own users' data unless a written agreement says otherwise.
6. Resource abuse
You may not use hosted services in a way that unreasonably consumes bandwidth, compute, storage, database capacity, email/SMS volume, or other resources. We may apply rate limits, traffic controls, caching, plan limits, or usage-based charges where needed to protect availability and cost predictability.
7. Content takedowns
We may remove or disable access to content if we believe it violates this policy, infringes rights, creates legal risk, creates security risk, or triggers complaints from users, providers, payment processors, app stores, domain registrars, cloud platforms, or law enforcement.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, limit, disable, or terminate any site, account, deployment, domain, integration, content, or service immediately if we believe there is a policy violation, security incident, legal risk, payment issue, platform risk, or urgent need to protect users, customers, Accruu, or infrastructure. When reasonable, we will try to notify you and work toward remediation.
9. Reporting abuse
To report suspected abuse involving an Accruu-hosted site or service, email support@accruu.io with the URL, screenshots if available, and a short description of the issue.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as our services, threat model, provider requirements, or legal obligations change. Continued use of hosted or managed services after updates means you accept the updated policy.
